Our priority is to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees and contractors and work together towards the goal of zero harm in the workplace.

The award and preservation of UK North Sea oil and gas licences requires compliance with strict Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements by the UK regulatory authorities.  We and our joint venture partners strive to ensure that all operations, drilling campaigns and projects are carried out under the highest HSE standards.  

Our HSE policy describes the standards and expectations we have as a business in order to ensure that we operate a safe workplace for both our employees and our contractors.  We promote a respectful working environment and recognise that continuous improvement, collaboration and communication are key to an effective workforce and successful engagement across the wider industry.

We acknowledge that risks will always be present during our activities. We see it as our responsibility to reduce this risk to as low as reasonably practicable, to avoid our activities having adverse effects on people, the environment or our assets. Identifying risks and importantly understanding risks, is necessary to prevent accidents and to ensure adequate emergency preparedness and reduce uncertainty.
